L’Entretien Motivationnel (EM) n’est pas une liste de techniques mais un style d’interaction avec les patients.
Ainsi, l’assise de l’EM est véritablement son “esprit”, sa philosophie.
Miller (2008) a évoqué l’idée qu’apprendre les techniques de l’EM sans son esprit serait comme apprendre les paroles d’une chanson sans sa musique.
Lorsqu’on apprend une nouvelle chanson, classiquement on apprend d’abord la mélodie puis on retient les paroles. Si on est capable de fredonner l’air, on a déjà fait la moitié du chemin.
Cette pyramide illustre parfaitement la philosophie de l’Entretien Motivationnel : un accompagnement centré sur la personne, respectueux, collaboratif et orienté vers le changement durable. Accompagner le changement, ça commence par l’écoute, le respect du rythme de l’autre et l’alliance.
L’entretien motivationnel n’est donc pas une simple technique : c’est une posture, une manière d’être avec l’autre, un esprit!

Mình lâu nay chỉ xem xổ số kiểu cho vui, coi như một thói quen nho nhỏ sau giờ làm để đầu óc nhẹ đi. Có lúc mình cũng thử ghi lại mấy số hay ra, rồi ngồi ngẫm xem có điểm chung gì không, nhưng càng theo dõi càng thấy phần nhiều vẫn là may rủi. Gần đây mình đọc thêm vài bài về soi cầu xổ số miền bắc, thấy người ta hay nhìn theo lô rơi, đầu đuôi, rồi cân tổng chẵn lẻ cũng khá hay, ít nhất giúp mình đỡ chọn đại.
